Deferring your enrolment on any grounds may affect your student visa, therefore it is strongly advised that you contact the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) to find out how these changes will affect your visa before continuing with this application

Even if Strategix approves your application, The Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection may not accept the reasons provided and may proceed to cancel your visa and impose a three year ban on re-application for student visa. It is strongly advised that you contact the Australian Embassy in your home country to check the status of your student visa before attempting to travel back to Australia.
If your request to defer your course is denied you have 20 working days from being notified to appeal the decision, refer to Complaints and Appeals Information Sheet.
